Dodge reveals the SRT Hellcat and it pays a homage to all muscle cars. It is powered with the renowned supercharged 6.2 litre Hemi V8 that churns out 707Bhp and 881Nm of torque.
The engine is mated to a eight speed automatic transmission. 6.2 litre V8 engine is the most powerful engine which is ever built by Chrysler. The engine features a forged steel crankshaft with induction-hardened bearing surfaces, a specially tuned crank damper that's been tested to 13,000rpm and forged aluminium pistons.
It can accelerate from 0-100kmph in just 3.8sec and can achieve a top speed of 328kmph. Interior is equipped with a 7-inch customisable digital instrument cluster, a new central stack and an 8.4-inch display for the media system. The car is fitted with 18-speaker Harmon Kardon audio system, an electrically adjustable heated steering wheel, paddle shifters, heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats and climate control.
Tim Kuniskis, president and CEO of the Dodge and SRT Brands, said, “It’s a muscle car, a performance sedan, a family-capable sedan. Its success is that it can be any or all of those things, depending on how the customer chooses to equip their car.”
