2014 Triumph Thunderbird launched in India at Rs 15.75 lakh


              Triumph has already launched 11 bikes in India earlier this year, has added one more model to it's line up. The Thunderbird is the tourer version of the Thunderbird Storm and it is priced at Rs 15.75 lakh.




           The Thunderbird is powered by a 1,699cc parallel twin engine that churns out 94Bhp and 151Nm of torque.The engine is mated to a six-speed transmission. Thunderbird is loaded with huge 22 litre fuel tank for extra mile to cover up. Triumph has also added an electronic immobiliser. The LT differentiates itself from the Commander in rider positioning as well, with a handlebar.


               For Classic look Triumph used spoke wheels with white wall radial tyres. The Thunderbird is packed with many features like front tall windscreen, smart leather saddlebags and two auxiliary lamps. Thunderbird is available in four color options Caspian Blue, Crystal White & Lava Red, Phantom BlackFor comfortable ride the seat include dual layer foam with lumbar support facility. Triumph India claims to have delivered 837 motorcycle so far and the company has about eight functional dealerships. Two new dealerships will be added in Kolkata and Chandigarh respectively by the end of this year.
