Audi has unveiled 2014 Audi S1 at the Geneva Motor Show next month. It will be powered by the renowned 2.0 TFSI motor, that churns out 231Bhp and 370Nm of torque. It can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 5.8sec and can achieve a top speed of 250kmph. The engine is mated to a short shifting six-speed manual transmission and quattro all wheel drive system.
Audi claims the S1 will deliver a mileage of 17.1kmpl. It is equipped with variable damper control, 17 inch-wheels with 215/40 tyres and Audi's Drive Select System. Exterior is mated with Xenon headlamps, LED tail-lamps, wider Sills and modified bumper. Audi has introduced four new color schemes including the yellow car pictured here.
The cars are expected to be priced at Rs 25.77 lakh and 26.53 lakh respectively when they go on sale in UK in a few months.
“The Audi S1 offers all the virtues of a sports car, great performance, direct handling and permanent quattro drive that puts the power to the road in a superior way,” says Prof. Dr. Hackenberg, Audi Board Member for Technical Development, adding: “The quattro drive has a large following of fans, which is sure to become even larger thanks to the offering in this segment.”
