Mitsubishi is planning to launch Pajero Sport in Automatic variant by September 2014. It is powered by a 2.5L 16 Valve intercooled turbocharged DOHC diesel engine that churns out 178Bhp at 4,000rpm and 400Nm of torque at 2,000-2,500rpm. The engine is mated to a five-speed manual transmission and likely to get a five speed automatic transmission.
