Fiat to Launch the Facelift of Linea in India by first week of March 2014


Fiat is planning to launch the facelifted Linea in India at the first week of March. It is powered by two engine options the 1.3-litre Multijet diesel engine that churns out 93Bhp at 4,000rpm and 209Nm of torque at 2,000rpm, 1.4 litre petrol engine that churns out 90Bhp at 6,000rpm and 115Nm of torque at 4,500rpm. Both the engine is mated to a five-speed manual transmission.

 
  
The Linea facelift gets a new fog lamps, new bumpers, outside rear view mirror gets turn indicators and the dashboard gets a new color. Fiat has added more utility space like bottle holders in the front. The audio system gets a USB, AUX and Bluetooth connectivity.

 
Other features include 16 inch alloys, rear parking sensors, cruise control, rain sensing wipers, auto headlamps and ambient dashboard lighting. The Fiat Linea is available in total 7 body colors; the premium shades are Tuscan Wine and Fox Torte Azure while the popular colors include Flamingo Red, Minimal Grey, Hip Hop Black, Bossa Nova White and Medium Grey.


It is expected to be priced at Rs 9.76 lakh (Ex Showroom Delhi). It will be competing with the cars like Skoda Rapid, Toyota Etios and Volkswagen Vento.
